Previous experience shipping chemicals and/or dangerous goods & knowledge of shipping requirements

Pack product according to product requirements such as temperature sensitive and dangerous goods materials

1-2 years of experience working in a similar role in a similar industry

Previous experience in shipping and Waybill

Previous experience shipping through different couriers i.e. FedEx, UPS, DHL

College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management

Assists Carriers/Sales with delivery/paperwork exceptions/delays; escalates to manager as required

Provides support to Logistics & Customs Compliance Manager for Customs Inquiries/Audits i.e. CF-28

3+ years of related experience. Some supply chain or logistics related field job experience

Experience with International & Domestic Shipping, Transportation and Customs processes and regulations

Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Visio, BI, PowerPoint)

Manage the opportunities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.

5+ years of sales experience selling Logistics, Transportation or Customs.

Identifying sales opportunities for the sales team to help grow a new business area and foster new business partnerships.

Work with existing channel partners to generate new leads.

Participate in company sales campaigns.

Qualify leads, as well as research into prospective companies.

Position requires an in-depth knowledge of fixed and mobile assets & reliability functions.

Strong working knowledge of computers and applicable software (MS Office, Oracle, SAP, Visiya, Xeras)

Must possess good oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

Requires the ability to coordinate diverse systems and to plan with excellence.

Understanding of exchange component programs;

Understanding of Company's and OEM policies and procedures as they relate to maintenance practices & parts supply.

Assist with obtaining affidavits and certifications from suppliers

Hold an international logistics diploma or any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the position

Have a good knowledge of customs and Incoterms

Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Suite Office

Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position

Have an experience in dealing with freight forwarders and customs brokers would be an asset

Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills

Interacts with Customer Service, Product groups and Finance, if required

Knowledgeable in cargo (air/ ocean/ truck) movement

Ability to manage multiple competing projects and deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French and other languages an asset

Four to eight years of experience related to international freight/ trade compliance
