Lodging House Manager Jobs

Manage all operational and administrative duties of the house and building, including overseeing maintenance requirements

Maintain updated digital file for all residents in the house according to the data management procedures

Perform other duties assigned by the Program Manager, Refugee Services

Post Secondary education in Social Services or related discipline

Proven experience in client support or customer service

Knowledge of the social services sector in Ottawa

Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB Local Division policies and contractual agreements.

Acts as the key execution contact for the customer and escalates any issues with urgency to Management

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university Or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma with passion for Project Management.

ABB Project Management designation (for internal applicants only), PMI certified.

Works with proposals team to issue required quotations with alignment towards the Sales strategy and in coordination with the Sales Manager

Ensures that the portfolio is managed consistently, based on best practices and ABB Policies.

Have a minimum of five years of experience working in a semi-formal or formal residence in a management role.

Demonstrate a knowledge of household technology and mechanical systems. Comfortably manage small repair and maintenance projects around the house.

In collaboration with the Estate Manager, train and manage all housekeeping staff.

Manage all household inventories and provisioning, with the assistance of the housekeepers.

The House Manager has primary responsibility for organising and managing food and cooking in the household, keeping kitchen inventories.

Work with all staff and services to maintain household and property standards.

3 years supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service fine dining restaurant or 4-star hotel and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Wine knowledge or experience as a Wine Steward an asset.

Working knowledge with computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, email internet navigation, and presentation software.

Experience as a fundraising / Annual Giving professional with a proven record of achieving goals/targets, developing engagement/participation tactics and stewardship strategies

Outstanding organizational skills, ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to deadlines
