What you will be doing:

New Business - Life/Health Insurance:

Open accounts and manage all documentation requirements;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), Internet Explorer and contact management software;

Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls with clients;

A minimum of 2 years investment industry experience;

Experience with Dataphile is a definite asset;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Offer the appropriate products based on clients' needs;

Minimum of 3 years of experience

Analyze, understand and identify the risks/needs of current and prospective clients;

Provide a timely and professional customer service to the clients we insure;

Negotiate renewals and process modifications of insured clients’ contracts ;

Explain coverages in a simplified way;

Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred

Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening

Outbound prospecting, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred

Enter trades, experience working with a Portfolio Manager a benefit

Working experience with Dataphile and or Croesus a benefit;

Manage all client documentation (new accounts and maintenance) and ensure document deficiencies for client accounts are kept to zero;

Collect all mail (ingoing and outgoing) and review for meeting compliance requirements;

Experience working within the Financial Services industry;

Great organizational skills and a dependable nature;

Keep up to date the broker management system (TAM) with all pertinent files

At least 1 year experience in the commercial space

Experience with TAM a definite asset

Collecting required renewal information from clients 90 days before renewal

Negotiate renewal terms, and marketing terms from insurers

Reviewing current coverages and recommending changes in coverages / limits where needed
