Overview:
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are healthcare professionals who provide basic medical care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. They work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, and are responsible for monitoring patients’ vital signs, administering medications, and providing basic patient care. LPNs must have a valid license and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.How To Become an Licenced Practical Nurse:
To become an LPN, you must complete a state-approved practical nursing program, pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN), and obtain a valid license from the state in which you plan to practice.Licenced Practical Nurse Skills:

• Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
