Manage regularly occurring compliance initiatives (i.e. monthly/quarterly/annually) and ad hoc compliance projects.

University Degree (law, business or finance degree is an asset).

5 to 10 years of business experience in a legal, corporate or financial environment.

Work closely with the Complaints and Investigation team including inspectors and investigators, Manager, Registrar, and Deputy Registrar.

Supervise the Complaints Investigation Manager.

Must have a minimum of 4 years of practice experience

Knowledge of the Health Professions Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Administrative Tribunals Act is highly desirable.

Must posses excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with individuals across all levels of the organization.

Experience using MS office/MS Dynamic/CRM preferred.

Experience with recruitment, mentoring and general law firm management.

Strong project management and time management skills with an ability to prioritize, plan and implement numerous projects, programs, and special events.

Demonstrated experience, knowledge of and commitment to implementing and advancing EDI best practices.

Experience and ability to prepare and manage a multi-year plan, set of priorities and budget.

Law degree with a minimum of 8 years of combined practice and professional development experience, with litigation experience an asset.

Relationship building and leadership skills with an ability to motivate others and work collaboratively.

Supervising and implementing general risk management and litigation avoidance strategies, while staying on top of legal and regulatory changes

Attending to transaction requirements for foreign affiliates while working collaboratively with team members in other global regions

Support for other corporate legal and compliance requirements

Relevant applied experience of 10+ years, preferably with project financing and/or M&A in energy, utilities, and technology sectors

Experience in managing outside counsel globally
