Overview A Learning Content Specialist is responsible for creating, developing, and managing educational content for a variety of learning platforms. They are responsible for creating content that is engaging, informative, and effective in helping learners reach their educational goals. They may also be responsible for managing the distribution of content, ensuring that it is accessible to learners in a timely manner. Detailed Job Description A Learning Content Specialist is responsible for creating, developing, and managing educational content for a variety of learning platforms. They are responsible for researching and creating content that is engaging, informative, and effective in helping learners reach their educational goals. They may also be responsible for managing the distribution of content, ensuring that it is accessible to learners in a timely manner. They must be able to work with a variety of stakeholders, including instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other content creators, to ensure that content is accurate and up-to-date. They must also be able to evaluate content for accuracy and relevance, and make necessary changes as needed. Job Skills Required• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of learning management systems and other educational technologies
• Knowledge of instructional design principles
• Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property laws
• Knowledge of adult learning principles
• Knowledge of e-learning development tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in content development
• At least 1 year of experience in instructional design
• At least 1 year of experience in e-learning development
• At least 1 year of experience in adult learning principles
• At least 1 year of experience in copyright and intellectual property laws
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of learning management systems and other educational technologies
• Knowledge of instructional design principles
