Language School Manager Jobs in British Columbia

Proven leadership capabilities in program management and the supervision of staff;

Strong time management and organizational skills;

Considerable experience working in First Nations’ Early Childhood Educators, School Age Educators (K - 12), or Adult Education is an asset;

Strong knowledge of and experience sharing and teaching language and culture;

Experience monitoring and reporting on activities funded from various sources; solid writing skills are required;

An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and considerable experience in the above areas will also be considered.

Experience in instructor and staff supervision, and performance management.

Demonstrated program and budget management skills.

Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ESL curriculum planning and Canadian Language Benchmarks.

Actively participate in cross agency collaborations to obtain and share sectoral knowledge and apply learnings to language programming where applicable.

Ontario TESL Certificate; bachelor’s degree in teaching or adult education
