Ladies Footwear Product Developper Jobs in Manitoba

You solicit feedback from peers, management, and consumers.

Works cross-functionally with Planner, Allocator and Visual Merchandiser to set assortment, implement strategy, manage open to buy and place re-orders.

In partnership with the Planner, manages sell-through, markdowns, and exit channels for all product within the portfolio.

4+ years of experience as a Buyer or Merchant in a multi-brand retailer.

2+ years of experience in retail sales.

Experience opening new stores is preferred.

Attend all educational sessions offered including product knowledge, vendor, and Holt Renfrew seminars

Resolve all customer service issues and partner with selling management on any issues outside of guidelines

Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements

Minimum of 4+ years experience in a commission-based luxury sales environment

Skilled at using multiple channels of technology to strengthen existing relationships, drive new client acquisition & stay connected

Possesses broad range of product knowledge across all merchandise categories in the store

Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Retail Management, or equivalent experience

Manage open-to-buy to maximize business opportunities and inventory control

Manage inventory; make timely profitability decisions; review existing inventory performance indicators and react quickly to change in demand, logistics and trends

3-5 years proven Buying experience, preferably in luxury retail

Sound knowledge of purchasing principles and practices / Retail Math

Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done

Identify and interpret trends and product opportunities to meet consumer requirements.

Experience in footwear design and development preferred.

Design and develop compelling footwear products.

Own a category or projects across several categories each season.

Build colourways and select seasonally relevant materials.
