Strong organizational & time management skills

Experience writing, editing and proofreading content

Excellent command of English language both written and spoken

Work closely with Producers and Production Manager on content management, file organization, and equipment coordination.

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software - After Effects and Premier or other motion graphics software.

Knowledge in operating standard digital video cameras and equipment is a plus.

Source and edit high-quality video content with a focus on delivering for social media audiences.

Ensure all creative adheres to existing brand guidelines and social media best practices.

Assist Video Producers during the pre-production process: vendor coordination, shoot prep, brainstorms, etc.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

1-2 years of experience in video editing

Edit and assemble raw footage according to scripts or the direction of head editor and Owner

Work with multiple styles of video, from funny youtube videos to professional corporate video

Apply a deep understanding of video retention and pacing to create engaging and impactful videos

Use graphics and special effects to enhance the narrative or concept of the video

Basic knowledge of graphic design

Assist in the editing of video content

Collaborate with our creative team to develop innovative video concepts

Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative meetings

Maintain an organized video library

Stay updated on the latest trends in video editing and YouTube content creation

Organize and maintain creative file management

Proven video editing experience and understanding of video editing skills (assembly, titling and colour correction)

Experience with FrameIO an asset

Assemble footage for video ads for paid social

Sort and consolidate select footage

Communicate clearly and request clarification when necessary

Experience with Photoshop, After Effects, Frame.io, and Slack is highly desirable.

At least 2 years of experience editing YouTube videos.

Experience with short-form content is a plus.

Detail-oriented and Strong Communication Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is required.

Familiarity with the Google Workspace (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs etc.) is essential.
