Post Secondary Education in Finance or Accounting preferred

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills for dealing with high volumes of data

Large ERP experience an asset

Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and accuracy in working with large amount of data

Prepares GST/HST returns and completes net filings on a regular basis, including Canadian and US sales tax returns

Assist in all banking and cash flow management reports as required by the VP, Finance.

Strong team spirit, excellent communication, and a positive proactive approach to financial management.

1+ years’ experience in full-cycle accounting.

Post-secondary Accounting or Finance Diploma or University degree required.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Ability to work in collaboration with all members of business and the finance team to identify effective financial controls.

1-2 years of relevant experience, including work in an accounting firm servicing owner managed clients, is a strong asset.

Organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines, competing tasks and client documents.

Knowledge of taxation, including taxation of corporations, individuals, partnerships, and trusts.

Must have experience with Caseware, Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks.

Previous experience with Profile and Sage 50 is an asset.

Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation).

Follow up with practice partners on Finance and Accounting requirements

Manage vendor relationships and enquiries

Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field is required

3+ years’ relevant work experience
