Junior Mobile App Developer Jobs

Minimum 3 years of experience in a product management role, and 4-5 years experience working in a business/tech environment

Proven experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android using languages such as Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.

Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

•Lead user-centered design based on consultation with project teams and other experience designers

•Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models and interface designs to product owners and stakeholders

•Develop and maintain mock-ups, wireframes and prototypes

•Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, developers and UI designers

•Support task-based user testing through mobile prototypes

Experience with Ruby on Rails.

Experience with RESTful APIs and web services;

Experience in using mobile app testing tools such as Appium, Calabash, and Espresso;

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new front-end web development technologies and apply them to enhance the usability and efficiency of the website.

Expert knowledge of responsive websites using CSS preprocessors like Less, Sass.

Experience with architectural work involving performance optimization with SEO.

3-5 years of experience in web development manipulating and fully customizing CMS themes

2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining Components Libraries and/or Design Systems.

2+ years of experience working with a modern frontend stack (JS, React, etc.)

5+ years of development experience in hybrid mobile development.

4+ years of strong experience in Angular.

1+ years of experience in Cordova OR Capacitor plugins. OR Ionic Framework.

Nice to have experience in Android or iOS integration of Hybrid Apps.

Total IT experience of 6+ years is required

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON

Basic understanding of database management, preferably with SQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

Enrolled in a Computer Science degree or a related field, or possess relevant programming experience.

Demonstrable knowledge in Swift, Kotlin, or Flutter programming languages for mobile app development.

Solid understanding and experience in machine learning theory and practice.

Experience in building data pipelines and self-sufficient in gathering data for building and evaluating models.

Backend development knowledge (Node.js preferred).

Actively participate in daily feedback and brainstorming sessions, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Maintain a well-organized inventory of generated code, ensuring proper documentation and version control.

Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.

Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or PHP is a plus.

Define and execute the product roadmap for the app experience, working closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver impactful improvements.

Design and run A/B tests to validate hypotheses and optimize the app experience.

Experience working cross-functionally with design, engineering, data, and customer support teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
