Job Summary: As an App Developer and Software Specialist at Merit Immigration, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications and software systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to enhance our digital platforms and ensure a seamless experience for our clients. And finally, this is an in-office role.

Key Responsibilities:

App Development:

• Lead the design and development of our mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Optimize app performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user interfaces.

Software Development:

• Develop, test, and deploy software applications that align with our business objectives.
• Play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve software issues and bugs in a timely manner.

Technical Expertise:

• Adhere to coding standards and best practices to maintain high-quality software development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend their implementation when appropriate.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and user guides.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with our quality assurance team to ensure thorough testing and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Proven experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android using languages such as Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in software development using languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
