Overview A Judicial Assistant is a professional who provides administrative and clerical support to judges in a court of law. They are responsible for managing the judge’s schedule, preparing legal documents, researching legal issues, and providing assistance to the judge during court proceedings. Detailed Job Description A Judicial Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to judges in a court of law. This includes managing the judge’s schedule, preparing legal documents, researching legal issues, and providing assistance to the judge during court proceedings. The Judicial Assistant must be knowledgeable of court procedures and protocols, and must be able to communicate effectively with court personnel, attorneys, and the public. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of court procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field
• Previous experience working in a court of law
• Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
