Previous instrumentation construction and/or maintenance experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector would be considered an asset

Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record

Experience: 6 months or more of industrial experience is preferred.

Education: Electrical Engineering Technologist (Industrial program) college diploma is required.

Education: Industrial Mechanic or Millwright college diploma is required.

Education: Welding and Fabrication Technician college diploma is required.

Education: Instrument & Control Technician college diploma is required.

Education: Powerline Technician college diploma is required.

Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques

Journeyman's certificate, Red Seal, or equivalent qualification although we do hire apprentice mechanics!

Proven mechanical abilities in hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnostics

Experience with routine maintenance operations

Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment

Ongoing Manufacturer /OEM training, certification and development, available

1 – 5 years related experience and apprentices

Brake and Safety Inspections experience considered an asset

Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Have a positive attitude and great work ethic

Have their own hand tools

Transportation (company vehicle is a option for the right candidate)

Be subject to a criminal check as job sites require
