Intermediate System Specialist Jobs

Successful completion of an undergraduate degree. An equivalent amount of education and experience will be considered.

In-depth knowledge of national and international education systems;

Awards and revises admission scholarships, differential tuition fee exemptions and transfer credits as well as determines students’ language requirement needs.

At least 3 years of work experience in a university admissions office.

2 years of experience in leading projects, including analysing and interpreting institutional needs and applying day-to-day work to the institution’s objectives.

Demonstrate excellent judgement and initiative with superior problem-solving skills;

Management of requirement mapping to test cases.

Share knowledge and skills with other team members.

Deliver presentations to GDMS-C management and customers.

Prepare requirements documents and specifications.

Excellent communication abilities (written and verbal).

Working knowledge of MS Office suite tools including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

Provide clear status updates to management on the progress of all ongoing EDI implementations

Experience in the transportation logistics and/or supply chain industries will be considered an asset

1-3+ years experience with integration and implementation of EDI trading partners

Knowledge of various connectivity solutions such as VAN, AS2, and SFTP

Working knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards and best practices

Experience with EDI Software Solutions such as SPS and Data Masons

5+ years of direct experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS); less experience will also be considered

Good knowledge of building systems and relevant standards

Proven diagnostic skills; able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the mining industry.

• Participation in a remote team environment, working closely with Falkirk’s Senior staff and Project Managers.

• Environmental Management plan writing and execution.

• Liability Cost Estimation experience beneficial.

• Health and Safety experience in preparing for and conducting site visits and field work.

• Ability to mentor staff in skill sets related to reclamation and research.

2 or more years of experience in a similar role with an in-depth knowledge of Linux servers, Networking and troubleshooting;

Excellent communication skills both written and spoken;

Knowledge of VMware, Proxmox, pfSense, Office 365, Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory would be considered an asset.

Hybrid/remote is possible but the role requires often presence on site(s)
