Project management knowledge normally acquired through post-secondary education

At least five years' relevant experience in project and performance management in an academic environment

Experience in process development, review and documentation (Lean Six Sigma training an asset)

Proven experience in preparing and facilitating presentations and working sessions with a variety of audiences, of different sizes.

Good analytical, synthesizing and rigorous skills

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Clarify roles and responsibilities of those on the project team and ensure expectations are understood;

Manage the contract administration and quality of restoration projects at the construction stage;

Assign project team and manage project to achieve deliverables on time and on budget.

Understand and manage client expectations and direct WSP performance to meet or exceed them.

Handle P.O.s and invoicing and manage Accounts Receivable within targets.

Commit to embracing and enhancing a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Provide project management and related contract administration

Oversee project administration and assist with design management of engineering projects of IRC; provide construction contract administration

Knowledge and experience with construction contracts, contract administration, site reviews, and chairing site meetings

Make contributions to the company knowledge base and procedural practices

2 – 5 years of experience with a focus on projects related to building sciences

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Leadership aptitude with people management experience

Strong project financial forecasting and cost management

Manage the Planning, Execution and Closure of mandated projects.

Identify and manage project and resource interdependencies to deliver on the Business objectives and targets.

Negotiate and communicate with stakeholders, forecasting, priorities, deliveries, and logistics to meet overall project requirements.
