Minimum 5 years' experience in an Instrument Mechanic role

Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification

Install, configure, commission and repair control equipment and systems.

Inspect, maintain, diagnose, calibrate and repair control instruments.

Create an exceptional patient experience for the customer by counselling and instructing

Ensure repeat and referral business by creating an outstanding experience for every patient

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making and judgment skills

Conduct hearing aid fittings, Workers Compensation applications, D.V.A. Reports, Medical Reports, etc.

Provide appropriate follow up care for all patients including a checkup schedule

Provide timely response to customer and internal users regarding issues such as downtime and malfunctions.

Help provide 24/7 coverage during holidays and re technical support rotation schedule.

Keep system and equipment information up to date and contribute to training staff.

In-depth understanding of medical diagnostic tests and procedures in a clinical setting.

A BC, AB or Inter-Provincial Instrumentation and Control Technician (Instrument Mechanic) trades qualification

DCS programming experience required (preferably ABB/Bailey)

Instrumentation job planning experience required

Based in the beautiful and adventurous community of Kitimat, BC

Manage Root Cause Analyses on major electrical assets and track corrective actions to completion.

Experience with reviewing and evaluating electrical equipment testing and maintenance reports including Dissolved Gas Analysis for transformers.

Working knowledge of instrumentation, controls, automation, PLC integration and similar.

Experienced with Microsoft products, SharePoint and other collaborative software.

Minimum 10 years hands-on in power distribution design, implementation and maintenance.

Leading or participating in Root Cause Analysis and similar methodologies.

Supports programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers.

Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.

Provide Instrumentation support and maintenance to ensure system reliability.

Use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation and diagnose.

Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.

Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate or an Apprentice Instrumentation card.
