The LPN or RN Infection Control Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of infection control policies and procedures in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of infection control practices, and for providing education and training to staff on infection control topics.Detailed Job Description:
The LPN or RN Infection Control Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating infection control policies and procedures in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of infection control practices, and for providing education and training to staff on infection control topics. The Infection Control Manager will also be responsible for conducting surveillance activities, investigating outbreaks, and developing and implementing infection control plans.What is Infection Control Manager Job Skills Required?
• Knowledge of infection control principles and practices
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Ability to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
What is Infection Control Manager Job Qualifications?
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in infection control
What is Infection Control Manager Job Knowledge?
• Knowledge of infection control principles and practices
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Knowledge of epidemiology and surveillance techniques
