Industrial Engineering Department Manager Jobs in Ontario

Responsible for the Department budgets, performance and staff compensation management;

Liaison between departments, Management team and internal/external stakeholders.

Effective time management and the ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines;

Must have experience Supervision and Leadership skills/experience with the ability to direct and influence a team;

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Lead, Manage and Administer the Mechanical engineering and design team;

Develop strategic plan in conjunction with the Risk Management Department to ensure all accounts are kept as current as possible.

Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Research and compile lists of prospective customers to build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential accounts using various resources.

Cold call prospective potentials in order to qualify them and determine if they are a “Weston-type” account.

Post-Secondary education in Industrial Engineering/Logistics or related discipline

Experience in a related field, preferably within a Supply Chain environment

Experience with Engineered Labour Standards (data collection, standards development, documentation) is considered an asset

Knowledge of VBA and or Microsoft Access competency required

MOST certification/understanding is an asset

SQL knowledge is an asset

Communication skills are key, must give clear and accurate direction to all team members and management, speak confidently.

Work directly with hourly personnel, engineering and all levels of company management.

Develop in depth product knowledge to set up Operations for New Model Vehicle Launch

Manage extensive complexity and organize Assembly Processes into an efficient Cycle Line Layout

Experience conducting time studies in a manufacturing environment.

Possess basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook) and can document and communicate effectively.
