Plan, organize and deliver high quality safe and stimulating programs for individuals with disabilities

Experience working with individuals with a disability(ies) or an exceptionality(ies)

High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or Sport Certification, considered an asset

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Safeguard certification from an accredited organization, or ability to obtain within 1 month of date of hire.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Safeguard certification from an accredited organization, or ability to obtain within 1 month of date of hire

Assist with supervising, scheduling, training and evaluating part-time staff and volunteers to maintain high level of service

Assist with conducting pre-program visits with new families and ensuring the participant profile is accurately completed

Manage and evolve external Culture & Inclusion partnerships.

Knowledge of, and passion for, corporate culture and values, and diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Good communicator, with writing, presentation, and public speaking skills.

Ability to use various computer software programs such as Word, Excel, asset management software and scheduling software.

Knowledge of needs assessment and strategic planning principles and practices, with demonstrated ability to implement sound community development processes.

Knowledge of participation processes, group facilitation, team building, and group dynamics.

Knowledge of inclusive and adapted program planning and practices.

1 full-time student work term or Co-op position

Carry out and document research and analysis on issues related to the audit subject matter

Experience with project management in either professional, academic/school, or community settings.

Enrolled in a college/university program, preferably with concentration in Sports Administration / Sport Management, journalism or communications.

Experience working with a sports & entertainment company or schooling in the sports & entertainment industry is an asset

Demonstrates organizational and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of hockey at both the professional and community levels is an asset

Assist with sourcing resources needed for Culture and Inclusion departmental events

Behavioural Management System (BMS) Certification from an accredited institution and/or association before first day of hire

Demonstrated experience providing support to persons with disabilities and/or unique needs

General knowledge of disabilities and unique needs

Demonstrated ability to effectively respond to and accommodate individuals with disabilities and/or unique needs

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certifications
