Human Resources Technician 2023 Jobs

Monitors educational technology trends and stays current with emerging digital learning technologies.

In collaboration with the Coordinator, Digital Skills Services, create digital materials to support workshops for students and faculty.

Participate in researching and designing short activities to promote the creative use of technology for skills development.

Provide input into continuous improvement and delivery of services to improve the student and faculty experience.

Digital Application Skills Workshops And Events

Assist in creation and development of digital resources to support online learners including end-user guides, videos, animated gifs, etc.

Minimum 1 year of experience as an HRIS user; knowledge of Oracle HCM an asset

Depending on demand, offer daily support to different HR departments

Minimum 1 year of experience as an HR Technician or a similar role

Good knowledge of Office Word suite, Excel, etc.

Organized, able to manage priorities, detail-oriented

Create digital employee files in our HRIS

Automotive Certification (310S) or Heavy Duty Technician Certification (421A) an asset.

Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment.

Knowledge of the use of hand tools and measuring devices, knowledge of the use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.

Experience with industrial equipment that involves lifting / rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.

Experience aligning above equipment, using dial indicators/calipers, micrometers, hoists or jacks is a plus.

Manage various administrative documents related to payroll, such as hires, terminations and changes.

0-2 years of experience in a human resources department; experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset;

AEC/DEC in human resources or administration or equivalent experience;
