Housekeeping staff may also be responsible for cleaning windows, walls, and furniture, as well as emptying trash cans and replacing linens. Job Skill Requirements Housekeeping staff must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently. They must also be able to follow instructions and work well with others. They should also have good communication skills and be able to interact with customers and other staff members. Job Qualifications Housekeeping staff should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred. Job Knowledge Housekeeping staff should have knowledge of cleaning products and techniques, as well as safety protocols.
