Overview Housekeeping staff are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of a facility. This includes cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the facility. They may also be responsible for stocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and performing minor repairs. Detailed Job Description Housekeeping staff are responsible for ensuring that a facility is kept clean and orderly. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the facility. They may also be responsible for stocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and performing minor repairs. Housekeeping staff may also be responsible for cleaning windows, walls, and furniture, as well as emptying trash cans and replacing linens. Job Skill Requirements Housekeeping staff must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently. They must also be able to follow instructions and work well with others. They should also have good communication skills and be able to interact with customers and other staff members. Job Qualifications Housekeeping staff should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred. Job Knowledge Housekeeping staff should have knowledge of cleaning products and techniques, as well as safety protocols.
