Experience in academic records and information management.

Proven excellence in staff supervision and management.

Undergraduate degree, plus a minimum of three to five years’ related administrative experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).

Knowledge of Student Information systems

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Experience developing business processes, policies and procedures.

Detailed knowledge of project management including cost control, scheduling, codes, standards, specifications, corporate procedures, contract documents and applicable contract legislation.

Support the process of collection, and classification of all Quality Management System records.

Proficiency in the use of project management software and computer applications is essential.

Knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of civil engineering and architecture.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and think analytically.

Coordinate and participate on project quality audits and/or surveillance at the sites checking the quality processes, procedures, and paperwork.

Must have over one (1) year experience assisting clients in the Human Services field with

The ability to case manage and service coordinate with organizations in the community;

Working knowledge of Social Service programs, the Ontario Works Act and related legislation;

Must have operating knowledge of computer systems/programs including the Microsoft Suite of Products such as Word and Outlook;

3-5 years’ experience in front-line engineering/construction project

Knowledge of construction methods for underground/infrastructure project,

Technical background with previous design experience is preferred,

Sound and working knowledge of various temporary works elements:

At least 24 months of related experience

Experience working on an EDM is an asset

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables

Study sample parts and plan the best sequence of operations for mold build and repairs

Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of manual machines and hand tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations

Fit, spot and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools

Will be required to complete and remain current as per the requirements of the Corporation’s Management Certificate Program;

Training in and familiarity with the provincial Social Assistance Management System (SAMS) is considered an asset;

Maintain effective relationships with community agencies that are partners in service delivery; Recommend to Ontario Works Managers as to recruitment;

Attend at Social Benefits Tribunal as required;
