$90,000 - $110,000/year to start.

Three weeks vacation & six personal days

·Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

·Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

·Proven experience in technical support, field service, or maintenance roles within the heavy equipment and machinery sector.

·Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations relevant to heavy equipment and machinery.

Provide over-the-phone/remote troubleshooting support to dealer technicians, assisting them in resolving technical issues and inquiries related to our products.

Assess machine pre-delivery inspection (PDI) requirements at the distributor and dealer level, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Mechanical background and knowledge on electric Class 1,2,3 industrial trucks is required.

Automotive and Heavy equipment experience

Lithium battery power systems experience an asset.

Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset

Has a proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment.

Journeyperson certification – completion of 4-year Ag Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprenticeship

Completion of John Deere certification or willingness to undertake

Is proficient in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Is handy with a laptop to support diagnostics.

Has excellent problem solving ability.

Specialty Dealer Training Provided with Certification

Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements

Must have between 10-15 years' Journeyperson experience

Off Road experience is REQUIRED

Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIRED

Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Look after a diverse range of responsibilities, assisting our field staff in meeting client and business needs

High school diploma at a minimum. Post-secondary education would be considered an asset

Previous experience cleaning equipment or vehicles would be considered an asset

Experience driving pickup trucks, towing, and backing in boats/trailers would be considered an asset

Previous experience with asset tracking, scheduling, and customer service

Knowledge of basic vehicle repair would be considered an asset

You possess 3+ experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician, Field experience is strongly preferred

Provincially Recognized Heavy Equipment Certification is strongly preferred

Strong working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components

Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, component exchange, repair and warranty related activities
