In collaboration with the unit-based team, Program Director and senior hospital management; prepares, monitors and administers assigned budget.

Previous experience navigating and using Meditech, and general healthcare program software.

In–depth experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting

Experience working with test measuring tools and ability to solder SMT components

Complete root cause analysis reports for review and recommendations

Provide training to team members within and external to the department as required

Review documented procedures and processes related to testing, troubleshooting and reporting and work with other departments on continuous improvements

One year of Administrative/Business experience in health care setting required

Experience as PAA on a Critical Care Unit preferred

Knowledge of software packages such as Word/Windows

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

One year of Community College; Medical Terminology course preferred

Demonstrated Patient-Focused Care/Customer Service behaviour

Minimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education

Two (2) years of related health care experience required

Recent PSP experience required, experience in acute care and/or critical care setting preferred

Good communication skills (both written and oral)

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

PSW Certificate or completed the Sunnybrook PSP (formerly PSA) course is preferred

Be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the cardiovascular waitlist management system.

Demonstrated ability to think laterally, solve problems, make decisions and take action in a crisis management environment.

Provide education and support for patients/families during the waiting period and conducts follow-up of patients post procedures.

Provides supervision to cardiac waitlist clerks and surgery and cardiology booking clerks.

Comprehensive knowledge of health care delivery systems.

Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, mediation and negotiation.

You’ve previously demonstrated expertise in effective program management, with the ability to oversee and prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives.

You have working experience with Lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methodologies.

You have knowledge in gas adsorption and separation an asset.

You manage and analyze data from product autopsies to assess product lifetime and failure modes.

You’ve acquired a BSc. in integrated engineering, materials science, or related fields.

You integrate chemical and mechanical stability data from different platforms into a cohesive dataset.

Master’s degree with Nurse Practitioner Certification;

Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner an asset;

Program planning and evaluation skills;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence;

Demonstrated clinical expertise in cardiology preferred;

Scheduling and management appointments including office appointments, procedures, group appointments, multi-provider appointments and specialist clinic appointments

Using internal messaging, report generating and task management tools within electronic patients record

Minimum of 1 year experience in office administration required

1-2 years' experience in MSI billing processes preferred

Extensive experience in electronic communication (including but not limited to) Microsoft Word, Access and Outlook required

Demonstrated competence in verbal and written communication and public relations skills required
