Short Assignment, Full-time position; 70 hours biweekly

Other duties as assigned by management

Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

Proven experience as Finish Grind operator preferred

Skill in operating diverse high speed machinery and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometer etc.)

Mechanical aptitude and good math skills

Must possess basic math skills

Management of any required rework and validation of acceptable repair

Management of product movement within inspection area

Knowledge of carbon fibre and paint quality standards, inspection methods and equipment

Previous experience with Polyworks and JT2Go software packages would be beneficial

Excellent team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience of working to defined paint acceptance criteria

Grade XII plus one year related experience or graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/business program

General office skills an asset

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills

Demonstrated ability to remain calm during an emergency and deal with numerous interruptions and continuous change an asset

Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

Highschool diploma, GED, or 1 year manufacturing experience.

Experience with hand tools, specifically hand held grinder.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with routine maintenance operations.

Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.

Forklift experience, an asset but not required.

Application of ordinary arithmetic required.

Use of hand grinding tools

Ability to use manual and pneumatic tools required.
