Graphic Designer And Layout Artist Jobs

5+ years of experience in branding design, with a portfolio demonstrating your capabilities and design sensibilities.

Prior experience in creating brand identities for events, experiential marketing campaigns, or similar projects.

The optimal candidate would be someone with experience in brand design, specifically for

events or experiential marketing campaigns. Previous experience in branding for "whimsical" or

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) or other relevant design software.

Solid knowledge of camera lenses and traditional principles of cinematography

Experience working with Motion Capture

Ability to offer creative problem-solving ideas to cinematics related content

Ability to organize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines

Must have good working knowledge of Maya, Motion Builder and Premiere

Art-related degree and/or comparable professional experience

Knowledge of Preflight and Colour Management

Experience in the fashion, beauty, and retail spaces

Mid/Senior-level graphic designer (however a large portion of the role will be Production Design of a magazine)

Comfortable working on email, social, editorial , print design

Email and social media background

Strong and high end portfolio

Able to solve challenges in a creative and skillful way

Communicate clearly with production staff and manage multiple production tasks simultaneously

The ideal candidate has the clear goal of producing an appealing and exciting visual story, successfully achieving the director's vision

Read the cutscene scripts to understand the emotions to be conveyed to the player

Define and set up cameras and all related parameters (focus, distance, frame, etc.) to ensure the best possible visual quality

Break down the storyboards with the Art director/Layout Sup to analyze optimal camera shots

Partner with Project Manager to develop timelines, route files, and meet deadlines

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a production artist and graphic design

Experience with 3D rendering and illustration is an asset

Retouching experience is an asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills

Three (3) to five (5) years of layout experience in visual effects for feature film or television (required)

Advanced software skills in Maya (required)

Basic to Intermediate skills in 3ds Max, Photoshop, Shotgun, Nuke, and Scripting (preferred)

Extensive skillset in-camera animation, staging, and set dressing

Background or experience in traditional Fine Arts demonstrating a thorough understanding of framing and composition

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player with a great attitude
