5+ years' relevant experience required

Perform all tasks required at the facility that contribute to customer service, grain conditioning and general facility upkeep

Minimum of 7-10 years trading experience as well as 5 - 7 years in trading pulses and/or plant proteins.

Excellent written, communication and presentation skills

Successfully implementing a sales strategy and executing annual revenue and volume targets for each of the key products

Operating within annual budgets for costs such as travel, marketing and trade shows

Scouting for and securing opportunities for new revenue streams

Managing and growing the customer base. This includes customer onboarding, processing credit applications and following up on receivables

-Develops and manages an operating budget and recommends capital requirements to the VP operations.

-Works closely with logistics and planning departments to assist with timely and efficient shipment of grain products.

-Monitors profit and loss targets relating to facility operations and implements corrective actions.

-Oversees facility housekeeping and the preventative maintenance program.

-Develops a working relationship with farmer producers ensuring quality supply of products to the location

-Performs other related duties as required.

Accomplish inspection requirements according to the scope of job

Follow all requirements according to any government regulations pertaining to fumigation services.

Follow all requirements according to the Canada Grain Act and Canada Grain regulations.

1 – 3 years of previous experience in a fumigating role is an asset.

Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.

Experience using customer relationship management software

Experience in dealing with agricultural producers at increasing levels of responsibility, selling crop inputs and contracting grain;

Highly developed sales and customer service skills with the ability to execute on plans and deliver maximum revenue potential;
