Carry out data audits and reporting to support regular or ad-hoc business requirements

Work closely with our 3rd party support teams for AMS, enhancements and releases. Helping to prioritise, test and validate business requirements

•Proven working experience in project management through all facets of project lifecycle

•Adjust project management approaches as needed, based on industry best practices and professional judgement.

•10+ years of project management, especially with creating deliverables outlined above..

•Identify and manage all issues and risks on the project; escalate items timely.

•Manage the project folder and related documentation, ensuring decisions and status updates are captured timely.

•Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope, identify risks/issues, and devising contingency plans.

Proven experience as a safety professional in project management, construction, or industrial environments.

Collaborate with project management and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into project planning, design, and execution phases.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Proficiency in using safety management software, incident reporting systems, and other relevant tools.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant local and federal regulations.

Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and developing preventive measures.

Have skillset and experience that relate to the following role:

Escalate critical issues to higher management.

Ensure communication (updates) provided on progress of engineering priorities and issues for alignment and awareness to senior management etc.

Education / experience in the nuclear field.

Collaborating with the managers in other disciplines, such as physics, thermal-hydraulics and mechanical to support safety related studies.

Foster a good working relationship with staffs, and other managers in the company.

Experience in Human Resources Management with strong investigation skills, including Workplace Violence is a requirement.

Actively participate in management decisions regarding Ministry of Labour Orders, visits and critical injury investigations and reporting.

Experience managing a remote team.

Post-Secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety.

Experience implementing evidence-based programs designed to provide metrics and measures to evaluate successes and highlight areas requiring mitigation strategies.

Previous experience consulting and advising Joint Health and Safety Committees (JHSC) is required.

Knowledge or experience in creation, review and management of deliverables according to the ISO 26262:2018 standard for automotive functional safety

Knowledge or experience with automotive diagnostics management

Provide those safety requirements to the SDO manager to support propulsion system programs.

Great communication skills – able to speak in technical terms and be able on elaborate engineering and/or safety requirements

Knowledge or experience with IBM Doors or other ALM tool

Knowledge or experience with the Dassault ENOVIA systems engineering PLM tool

Possess an industry-recognized certification in Project Management, demonstrating a strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

Industry-recognized certification in Project Management.

Effectively manage difficult stakeholders, utilizing strong communication and conflict resolution skills to achieve project goals.

Foster a culture of accountability and results-oriented project management, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with Business Leads, Project Sponsor(s), and Steering Committee to define project scope, deliverables, and benefits, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Manage multiple mid-sized projects simultaneously with a proven track record of successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.

Experience designing safety requirement specifications - SRS

Must have knowledge and experience in Instrumentation and Control, Automation, Instrumentation, and Electrical.

Working closely with other platform leaders to define processes and tools for the Safety management of electrolyzers

Hazop and Lopa - Participation Experience is MANDATORY!

Knowledge of Safety Codes and standards in the Hydrogen or process industry.

Ability to manage ambiguity and help with prioritization of work

Experience with requirements management software tools

Analysis and management of safety requirements

Manage and prioritize functional safety work requirements across projects and products

3 years experience in a functional safety engineering or managerial role

Proven experience in requirements development, design verification, and design validation

Continuing education and professional certification reimbursement

Manage time and resource allocation appropriately to provide overall safety leadership to assigned project(s).

Actively participate in reducing Project Incident Rates by meeting or exceeding established BU goals and manage regulatory exposures to zero citations.

Build working relationships with project staff and Subcontractor Safety Representatives.

Contribute to the development of the overall project safety program.

Ensure proper pre-planning for all activities and tasks for subcontractors and trades.

Create safety reports for the project, analyzing metrics and making recommendations for improvement over baseline.

Effective leadership skills including time management, project management, interpersonal skills, and integrity.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.

Environmental Management Certificate is preferred but not required.

EH&S leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficient skills with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, etc.) and comfortable learning new IT programs within the West Fraser system.

Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills

Effectively manage diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.

Lead identification and documentation of client business requirements

Lead solution validation/demonstration sessions with client counterparts to validate the solution meets client requirements

Manage and mentor junior SAP functional resources

Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills, to include MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.

Demonstrate characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.

Conduct internal audits, inspections and follow-ups to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide employee communication and education on policies and standards, and incident findings to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.

Manufacturing experience is an asset but not required

Knowledge of Health and Safety related legislation.

Strong organization and planning skills with ability to lead initiatives from inception through to implementation
