A university degree, completion of a college diploma, or combination of related education and experience

Partnering closely with departments including finance, HR, sales, and IT to understand and accomplish project deliverables.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a graphic design-related role

Engaging in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams spanning our operational regions in Canada, the US, and Sweden.

Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel

A valid passport and the ability to travel occasionally to Canadian or U.S. operations (2-3 times/year).

5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Working knowledge in System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL

Working knowledge in MATLAB DSP implementation

Design, implement, and test IP blocks

Work with your team to create new designs and help integrate IP across different platforms

Collaborate with system architecture team on future designs

Strong knowledge and experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and optimization techniques

Develop high-speed designs to meet the demanding requirements of our products

5+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA design and development

Solid experience with FPGA development tools and languages, such as VHDL or Verilog

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Previous knowledge or experience with basic arithmetic and equivalent competency

Department: Market Strategy & Asset Management

Maintain accurate records of the locomotive requirements in LOP and OP, as well as locomotives in Low GTM services

Prior experience in CP Operations/Transportation and Service Design departments considered an asset

Working knowledge of CP's network and general train design

Knowledge of various classes of locomotive equipment including haulage ratings and fuel consumption

Knowledge of green building practices and certification systems (LEED, Green Globes, ect.);

Support the delivery of sustainability and green building certification services;

Review and document project submittals to ensure compliance with sustainability targets and rating system requirements;

Submit projects for certification and compile any additional documentation requested during secondary review;

Desire to continuously learn and improve technical/professional skills;

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects; can quickly adapt to shifting priorities;

Knowledge and experience with DO-254 or similar guidelines for ensuring a safe and rigorous design process

5+ years of FPGA / PLD development experience preferably in aerospace, defense or medical product environments using VHDL or similar languages

Experience designing and implementing interfaces between digital devices and microcontrollers including communications and data busses, common protocols and error handling

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge to coordinate utilities with outside consultants.

Support production of design concept documents, presentations drawings and design details.

OAA or OALA Membership, LEED Accreditation, and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications would be considered assets.

Strong problem-solving, analytical and project management skills, including budget development and management.

Exposure to operations, maintenance and construction management standards and practices, including the ability to understand construction, operating and maintenance documents.

Manages consultant teams in the development of design documents, guidelines and specifications to support business case development for new transit infrastructure.

Knowledge of multi-discipline architecture and engineering design concepts, principles and practices relevant to transit facilities.

Knowledge of Contract Law, the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario.

Knowledge or experience in the following areas is a plus

Knowledge or experience in the following areas

8+ years experience in the FPGA industry

Candidates with more/less experience will be considered for junior/senior roles

Knowledge of Ethernet technologies including 10G, 25G, 40G, 50G, 100G, 200G, 400G, and 800G

In-depth knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog and simulation tools.

A big plus would be experience in PCIe digital design and familiarity with PCIe architecture.

Minimum 3+ years of RTL design and/or architecture experience

Experience in any of the following areas:

BS and/or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Proven track record with the development of complex SoCs or FPGAs.

Experience in VHDL and SystemVerilog

Experienced with ModelSim, Questa, Xilinx Vivado

Experience with ML and AI techniques on FPGA is highly desirable

Experience with SDR architectures is highly desirable

Experience with SoC architectures is highly desirable

Experience with Xilinx Vitis and Vitis AI is desirable
