Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks required

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for this position

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a health care setting preferred

Experience with EFR, Megamation, Meeting Planner, SHARE, Medworxx Bed Board, SAP and MFUs preferred

Recent NVCI training / certification considered an asset

Successful completion of Grade 12 or equivalent required

Experience in OR Booking procedures and use of Operating Room Management System

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a position providing administrative support

Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (listening, verbal and written), demonstrating a high degree of tact, sensitivity, judgment, courtesy and confidentiality

Ability to efficiently prioritize job requirements and work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Physical and mental capabilities to perform the duties of the position

Successful completion of an approved Office Administration program

Recent certification in BLS or willing to obtain

Experience/exposure to a health care setting is an asset

Working knowledge of computers and various software applications is required

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required

Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs

Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards

Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering

Setup company-directed promotions and programs

Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards

A team player with an attention for detail

Experience working with SHARE and Meditech systems preferred (OE, EMR and ORM preferred)

Skill and accuracy in typing

Successful completion of Grade XII or equivalent required.

Graduate of a post-secondary secretarial or office administration program or equivalent required.

Graduation from an approved Medical Terminology course required
