Overview A Floater is a type of employee who is able to fill in for any position within a company. Floaters are typically used in retail, hospitality, and customer service industries. They are expected to be able to quickly learn and adapt to any job they are assigned to. Detailed Job Description Floaters are expected to be able to quickly learn and adapt to any job they are assigned to. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks at once. Floaters must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. They must also be able to work well with others and be able to take direction from supervisors. Floaters must be able to follow instructions and be able to work with a variety of customers.
