They must inspect and test fire extinguishers to ensure they are in proper working order, and replace any parts that are damaged or worn. They must also check for any signs of corrosion or other damage, and make sure that all safety labels are in place and legible. Fire Extinguisher Technicians must also be knowledgeable about the different types of fire extinguishers and their uses, as well as the safety regulations and procedures related to fire extinguishers. They must be able to identify potential hazards and take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of the public.
