Finishing Site Supervisor Jobs

Have a post secondary education in engineering, architectural, or construction managements

Ensure legal, regulatory and compliance requirements are considered for projects including but, not limited to Ministry of Labour, WSIB and Tarion.

Update and maintain construction Schedule; Discuss any issues with site superintendent and project manager that may impact schedule.

3+ years experience in construction as an Assistant Site Superintendent in high-rise residential projects.

Have all necessary training/certifications (Working at heights, First Aid, WHMIS, and Basics of Supervision)

Thorough knowledge of applicable Parts in OBC and ability to converse fluently with Inspection officers and municipalities

Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.

Initiate decisions related to hiring and performance management of team members, complete performance reviews.

Understanding of basic management approaches such as prioritizing work, equipment utilization, team development and coaching.

Project Manager – High-rise (Downtown)

Exceptional time management skills and ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently;

Inform the Construction team and/or Project Managers of any errors, discrepancies or omissions contained within the Consultant's design drawings;

5+ years of Ontario residential construction experience;

Extensive understanding of the construction workflow and knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, planning, and reading construction drawings;

Excellent interpersonal skills with a high standard of professionalism and a customer service approach;

Experience with Newstar considered an asset;
