Financial Security Quality Assurance Investigator Jobs

Assists the AML Management by supporting new initiatives and requirements, as required.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for AML/ATF and sanction risk, industry best practices and/or organizational goals for AML/ATF typologies.

Proactively identifies best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Immediately escalates any issues, including system issues, to the Senior Manager

Strong knowledge of retail banking products.

Experience in adjudicating transaction alerts and monitoring for retail banking an asset.

Undergraduate degree and two (2) years of experience*

College diploma and four (4) years of experience*

High school diploma and seven (7) years of experience*

*Experience in the production of detailed reports

Experience in conducting interviews in an intelligence or security capacity

Experience working in areas related to intelligence or security matters

Ensure that all material and information obtained is treated in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and RBC policy

Strong investigative and analytical skills coupled with the ability to think outside the box.

Working background/experience with the major business segments of RBC

Prepare relevant reports as required including documentation in support of any action proposed based on the results of investigations

At least 5 years of experience in an investigative position

Proficient computer skills, computer application and database query language

Strong report writing and communications skills

Experience or training in interview techniques

Knowledge of diversity and cultural issues

Experience as a court or arbitration witness

Bachelor degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in Corporate Security environment/Law Enforcement;

Prepare accurate and timely written reports to the Senior Management team on findings and recommendations;

Private Security certification such as CFE (ACFE), PCI (ASIS), CFI or CFCI (IAFCI) (an asset);

Corporate Security or Law Enforcement background, including experience in security interviews;

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Display strong inter-personal skills such as when conducting security interviews;

Bachelor degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in Corporate Security environment/Law Enforcement;
