We are always deploying the latest investigative techniques and methods to achieve best in class Corporate Investigations Team. You will be tasked to investigate complex and high impact cases protecting TELUS in a wide scope of threats and breaches. You will be actively collaborating with core business units to deliver successful case outcomes to our people and brand.
What You’ll Do

• Urgent response for threats toward TELUS assets and personnel
• Provide Security Awareness presentations to Internal and External audiences
• Conduct various complex internal and external investigations
• Thoroughly build and document cases to support findings and resolutions
• Produce summary investigation reports for distribution to TELUS leaders
• Provide Security recommendations and participate in Projects for proactive measures
• Work with outside agencies such as Law Enforcement, Courts and Legal to bring cases to resolution
• Work closely with Internal Stakeholders including Human Resources, Labor Relations, Legal Service and other TELUS Security Teams
• Evaluate cases for patterns and trends to identify failures in policies, procedures and/or internal controls
• Query and Analyze various electronic data sources for case evidence

Qualifications
What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience in an investigative position
• Familiarity of the Criminal and Civil Justice System
• Ability to obtain a Private Investigator License
• Knowledge of diversity and cultural issues
• Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance
• Proficient computer skills, computer application and database query language
• Ability to travel for incidents if necessary
• Strong report writing and communications skills
• Experience or training in interview techniques
• Ability to respond to urgent incidents outside regular business hours
• Ability to work in an on-call rotation

Great-to-haves

• Experience as a court or arbitration witness
• Working knowledge in the Telecommunications industry
• Familiarity of Digital Forensic concepts, Fraud and Technical investigations
