3+ years relevant industry experience

Practical knowledge of financial products, Mutual Fund valuation and general ledger systems.

Excellent communication (oral and written), time management and organizational skills

Assists the Director of Finance in the preparation of the annual budget and interim forecast

Assists in preparation of reports for the COO and Finance, Risk and Audit Committee of the Board

Identifies financial requirements associated with each grant

Post-secondary education in a related field

Experience in Non-for-profit industry is required

Strong presentation and leadership skills, including experience leading executive-level meetings

Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA required

10+ years relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting research, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, or strategy consulting

Specific industry experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities, joint ventures, subsidiaries, government, non-profits, or public administration desirable

Extensive knowledge of IFRS accounting policies and procedures

Have 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting, treasury, risk management, accounting or system implementation roles

Have experience with ICAAP and Stress Testing as well as risk management

Performing scenario analysis based on the instructions provided by the Risk Management team in accordance with the ICAAP guidelines.

Working closely with the Risk Management team on evaluating the results of stress tests and scenario analyses.

Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience manipulating and arranging large data sets using Pivot tables, Vlookup, and formulas.

Excellent time-management and prioritization skills

Knowledge and experience with database products, such as SQL Server or Oracle, entity relationships, SQL and Programming

Minimum 3 years of consulting experience

Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration

Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

Data Reporting within the technical or functional workstreams of 3 or more HCM or Financials implementations for at least two phases.

Project management is an asset

3+ years of consulting experience

Experience with building planning, forecasting and reporting models

Support in the design, implementation and testing of reporting disclosure management tools.

Prepares explanations, submissions, briefing materials and presentations for delivery to management.

Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of software applications.

Undergraduate degree in a related field such as accounting, finance, business administration, economics or commerce.

Minimum of five years of related work experience.

Extensive knowledge of the financial, legislative and regulatory environment.
