Facilities Clinical Planner Jobs

Educational background in Maintenance Management, Engineering, or related field.

Knowledge of FIIX, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Manages asset tagged records and refines preventive and predictive maintenance via the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Assigns work orders, aiding management in job coordination, and monitoring compliance to priorities.

Oversees activities of contracted maintenance partners, prioritizing repairs and evaluating cost-benefit for recommendations.

3+ years experience in Maintenance Planning.

Two (2) years leadership experience in the facility clinical planning role of health care facilities or health care project management

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable.

Five (5) years of recent related facility clinical planning experience in a large complex multi-site healthcare organization

Carry out responsibilities in accordance with health and safety requirements. Immediately reports unsafe situations by notifying supervisor or other appropriate personnel.

Five years recent experience related to the designated initiative or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Extensive knowledge & clinical experience in designated area

Knowledge and experience in community development

Demonstrated ability in change management and change processes

Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation and evaluation.

Experience and/or qualifications in property, project, or asset management

Strong organizational and time management skills

The ability to analyze and make recommendations to senior management and clients

Completion of post-secondary education (preferably with an emphasis on architecture, planning or interior design)

Experience producing drawings in AutoCAD

Knowledge of facility planning methodologies, principals of architectural design and space planning

Knowledge and applied experience with maintenance planning and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Strong time management, communication and interpersonal skills

Responds to information requests from internal (e.g.Senior Management) and external (e.g. audits) parties

3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance field

1 year of maintenance planning experience

Strong analytical skills including troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills effective in quickly identify issues, causes and sustainable corrective actions.

Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.

Assess the clinical requirements of user groups by researching clinical benchmarks and best practices, and through operations analysis of service delivery.

Comprehensive knowledge of health care delivery systems.

Strong analytical, critical thinking and evaluation skills

Lead the planning and design of facilities for assigned clinical service initiatives; working with both internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare functional programs and assist the project team with facilities design decisions as they relate to clinical service delivery.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands

Architectural Technologist, Architectural CAD Technician or equivalent, with demonstrated significant experience in space planning.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

Solid client service acumen and interpersonal relationship skills

Knowledge of applicable national (Canada) and provincial (NS) buildings codes and regulations.

5 years of relevant experience in space planning, including balancing multiple stakeholder needs and competing priorities.
