Exterior Maintenance Technician Jobs in Quebec

• Create and complete work orders using the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system);

• Manage emergencies and optimize resources to resolve problems on a 24/7 basis operation facility;

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;

• Understanding and experience working with basic computer software like the Office Suite;

• Knowledge of electro-mechanic or mechanic on maintenance equipment;

• Advanced knowledge of the French language, and basic knowledge of the English language.

• Strong time management and customer service skills

• Assisting fellow colleagues and Management in any additional general labour duties that may arise

• Any additional tasks or duties assigned by Supervisor or Management team

• Previous experience in wood workings and metal machines is a must

• Millwright or relevant work experience preferred

• Knowledge of electrical machinery and plumbing

Prior experience in heavy manufacturing maintenance

Seeking candidates with mechanical and electrical experience

3 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields

Strong critical thinking and organizational skills

Check quality standards and functionality of services and machines regularly

Escalate any problems early and schedule repairs in order to minimize loss to business

Manage the inventory of maintenance equipment and tools.

Proven experience in a similar role.

Organization skills and sense of priorities.

Effectuer des tâches d’entretien général du bâtiment (peinture, réparation de fissures, interventions mineures en plomberie/électricité, etc.)

Installer, réparer, déplacer ou remplacer divers équipements (mobilier, portes, équipement de production, néons, etc.)

Inspecter quotidiennement les aires communes, les bureaux, l’extérieur du bâtiment afin d’identifier les besoins d’intervention.
