Event Parking Attendant Jobs

Pay Rate: $16.75 Per Hour

Hours: Varies based on business needs; typical shift is 4-8 hours and includes weekdays, evenings or weekends.

Take steps to assist customers with parking related inquiries, such as use of parking meters.

General cashier duties; handling cash, reconciling receipts, checking method of payments.

Calculate money owed by clients based on their length of parking time.

Grade 12 education or GED is preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team

Reports to designated parking area or a booth at a pay-for-parking entrance/exit during established lot hour

Directs drivers of vehicles to appropriate parking areas

Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to multi-task and meet required deadlines

Communicate with Manager of Parking on any issues or concerns immediately.

Confident and effective communication skills – interpersonal, written, and verbal

Knowledge of the game of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays is considered an asset

Ongoing, hands-on training to help you develop your skills

Current OFA Level 1 Certification. Will provide training for the right candidate.

Practical experience in the use of maintenance and grounds keeping tools, equipment, and vehicles

Experience with cash handling and reconciliation.

Work collaboratively with the Event Team and Management to create and execute memorable experiences for guests across all properties.

Experience participating in the delivery of events, ideally in a winery or similar environment.

Dedicated to providing personalized and professional service to all guests, and to showcasing the local region and estate offerings.

Able to manage time efficiently.

Holds a Serving it Right certification, and ensures responsible service of alcohol.

Holds or is willing to work towards holding a First Aid, Level 1 certification.

•1-year minimum post-secondary education or work in related field

•Previous experience with events an asset

•Willing to obtain First Aid certification

This position is for part-time hours, around 10 hours per week.

•Provide exceptional customer support to building users and guests

•Lift or move heavy objects or equipment as set up requires

Must maintain the general cleanliness of both the work area and parking location as required by management

Monitor any events that occur outside the location that may affect the operation as mandated by management

Changing signage prices to match those of competitors as mandated by management

Changes may be made to this schedule are subject to operational requirements.

Ensure positive experiences for all REEF partners and clients

Work effectively as a team with your Area Manager and Co-Workers

Welcome guests to Westerner Park and provide clear directions for parking and spaces

Keep parking lots clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized

Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces

Attentive to the parking lot in order to report vehicle damage and potential vehicle or property damage

Lift, position, and remove barricades in order to open or close parking areas

Any other duties as assigned

Previous experience in the hospitality industry, such as food and beverage or hotel services, is considered an asset.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.

Welcome guests with a friendly and approachable demeanor upon their arrival.

Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guests' vehicles in designated parking areas.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' inquiries and ensuring their needs are met.

Maintain an organized parking area, prioritizing the safety of vehicles and pedestrians.

Strong communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills

Deliver excellent customer service to Tenants, vendors (contractors/couriers) and visitors to the property in a professional and polite manner

Take appropriate steps to resolve Tenant, vendor and visitor concerns and problems, as required

Direct traffic in the Parking Garage

Operate the hydraulic vehicle lifts

Receive deliveries and direct delivery traffic
