Environmental Lead Jobs

Develop reports for QEP sign-off and management plans for clients and governing bodies

Relay project and environmental issues to management; provide proactive updates

Compile, manage, and interpret environmental data, and compose technical reports

Liaises with project managers to ensure we have the necessary equipment readily available

Reviewing technical documents to ensure their completeness and adherence to requirements

Researching applicable regulations and compliance requirements

Skilled in data and records management.

Interpretation of project requirements, technical specifications and their practical application through project-specific environmental plans and procedures.

Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Environmental Program Manager

Experience with large-scale construction/remediation projects.

College diploma / certificate in environmental science acceptable with the right skillset.

6-9 years’ experience working in the industry.

5-10 years of relevant environmental experience in progressively more independent and senior roles.

A University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or other technical post-secondary education in biology, or environmental sciences

Excellent communicator with proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills

History and proven experience building and maintaining productive professional relationships

Experience with Alberta Public Lands Act permitting

2-4 years relevant work experience providing support in environmental planning, approvals, assessments and environmental performance management preferred;

Experience with field work and overseeing management of environmental studies;

Experience with project management and coordination of environmental monitoring sampling program;

Support the DNNP (Darlington New Nuclear Project) by providing excellent project management and communication between multiple teams;

Strong verbal communication skills; ability to influence and communicate effectively across the company and externally at all levels;

Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills, and attention to detail;

Knowledge and experience with relevant legislation and policy documents.

Minimum two years of relevant professional work experience.

Working closely and collaboratively with environmental planners, biologists, and GIS analysts to complete environmental assessments and natural heritage inventories.

Assisting in the preparation of scientific and technical environmental assessment documentation.

Ensuring clients project-related issues are resolved quickly and project deadlines are met.

Undertaking environmental impact assessment and identifying environmental protection, mitigation, and monitoring measures for infrastructure projects.

You have restaurant or hotel serving experience, along with your Food Safe Level 1, Serving it Right and WHMIS certifications.

Creating an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests.

Creating a warm and positive dining experience through customer-service excellence in every interaction.

Prepare in-service training and complete inventories as assigned by the manager.

Champions hospitality quality improvement initiatives by conducting service audits, interpreting results and making recommendations for improvement to the General Managers.

You have 3-years of experience as a server team leader or similar position in the hospitality or seniors living industry.

You have restaurant or hotel serving experience, along with your Food Safe Level 1, Serving it Right and WHMIS certifications.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

Recommend organizational requirements to scale and sustain the ESG program

Post-secondary education in a related field

5+ years experience with ESG concepts and frameworks

Hands-on experience managing ESG-related functions

Strong working knowledge of ESG reporting standards and frameworks (i.e. GRI, SASB, TCFD), and ESG rater expectations

Knowledge and experience with stripping and waxing required

Knowledge and experience in burnishing, auto-scrubbing and buffing.

Maintain open and timely communication with team members and management staff

Minimum Grade 12 education and/or equivalent in support services role preferred

Ability to read and write, follow instructions, and use basic math skills

Uses the pager as required to perform job duties
