Strong customer service skills and ability to work with internal and external clients.

Data entry - following provided company guidelines, input the data and information

Great reading and comprehension skills

Transcription - create written copies of live speech or dictated audio

Data labeling - identify and label the properties of what you transcribe

Data classification - categorize provided data into different criteria

Eligible to work in Canada

Strong organizational and project management skills that support the timely, efficient, and effective completion of tasks and projects

Excellent budget management skills to ensure fiscal responsibility

Knowledge of current educational trends and challenges facing postsecondary institutions as it relates to writing and communications programs and courses

Minimum of five years of relevant practical experience in an academic environment

Experience working with students as a TESL accredited professional

Excellent interpersonal skills that support effective team building and conflict resolution

Participation in the Strangers on a Train reading series

Social engagement(s) with College faculty/administration

Office hours two days a week for manuscript consultations with students

Classroom visits for creative writing and literature

5 pm PST on Wednesday, July 12 2024

Hours may vary according to the needs of the department.
