Following quality control requirements and documentation.

5 or more years of experience in electrical manufacturing assembly.

Ability to read electrical schematics and soldering experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Machine wiring, routing and terminating field wiring in devices

Management and housekeeping of shop and warehouse.

Possess the physical and mental capabilities to manage multiple tasks at a time.

On the job technical learning. Shadow accredited technicians to support:

Service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operations.

Repair and maintain leak detection systems

Build hours towards petroleum technician accreditation (PMH, etc.)

Demonstrated training and work experience in current BC construction/maintenance/safety requirements and WCB Regulation relating to the trade and industry;

Maintain good interpersonal and communication skills and be self-motivated;

Two (2) years Electronic Technology Diploma from an ASTTBC accredited college or university;

Registered Fire Protection Technician Certificate (RFPT) with ASTTBC;

A working understanding of P.A. systems/media retrieval;

Budget: Provides input to departmental budgets. Manages projects to the established budget.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering with an understanding of electronics as related to manufacturing fixtures.

Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in a sustaining, design, test, or manufacturing engineering capacity. Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing experience preferred.

Optional: Programming skills with LabView, Python, C#, MATLAB or similar are a plus.

Knowledge of DFM, DFMA, DFMEA and PFMEA activities and processes.
