Electronics Design Engineer Student Jobs

Participate in all aspects of the project life cycle including concept definition and trade-offs, requirements development, design, testing, release, and maintenance.

Ensure that system design meets relevant agency requirements, including airworthiness and EMC

Bachelor of Sc. or higher in Electrical or Electronic engineering with minimum five years of professional experience.

Ability to develop schematics and guide PCB Knowledge of Altium and asset.

Knowledge of low noise, wide bandwidth amplifiers, photo detectors and wide dynamic range signals detection techniques.

Experience with opamps, ADCs and DACs.

Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies

· Solid understanding of AutoCAD software, document management systems and databases

· Develops material specifications and bills of material in accordance with company material strategies and customer requirements.

· Experience in a systems engineering environment, ideally in the defense industry.

· Experience working with a diverse integrated project team is considered an asset.

· P.Eng is a requirement.

Use broad technical skills for the design and development activities of Flutter Care’s wearable technology

Experience with software design in C/C++ in a multi-threaded environment

Experience using EDA tools such as Altium and KiCad is a strong plus

Experience with communication protocols such as HTTP and MQTT

Experience using electrical equipment such as an oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter, soldering iron, heat gun, etc

Knowledge and experience working within an IATF-16949 setting

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification an asset

3-5 years related quality engineering experience

Previous experience in an electronics environment highly preferred

Experience with 8D, A3, DMAIC etc.

Oversee the production of all products and quality control

Budget: Provides input to departmental budgets. Manages projects to the established budget.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering with an understanding of electronics as related to manufacturing fixtures.

Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in a sustaining, design, test, or manufacturing engineering capacity. Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing experience preferred.

Optional: Programming skills with LabView, Python, C#, MATLAB or similar are a plus.

Knowledge of DFM, DFMA, DFMEA and PFMEA activities and processes.

Electrical Safety, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Skills sets.

Minimum 5 years of experience in RF design;

Rich experience designing RF components, especially power amplifiers, synthesizers and related circuitry;

Good knowledge of EM theory;

Design Experience for RF circuits for frequencies above 10GHz.

Hands-on experience with schematic capture & PCB layout;

Hands-on experience building, integrating and troubleshooting circuits;

Knowledge of systems architecture, database management systems, and network and systems management systems.

Bowling formats, bowling center operation and management, customer relations, support procedures, Time/expense management, telephone skills, effective problem solving.

Performs surveys and briefs customer on responsibilities of both parties for installation.

Works closely with the scheduler, sales team, and project manager, to ensure installation timelines are met.

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office productivity suite.

Working knowledge of principles of electrical and electronic basics and theories.
