Minimum 2 years laboratory experience

Implementing experiment plans using various battery testing equipment and analytical techniques

Participate on relevant committees such as those determining project and space requirements, new projects, and redevelopment of existing space;

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a research, or research and development environment;

Extensive experience in working at diverse Synchrotron facilities as lead user and/or user support, with focus on ARPES and Spin-ARPES;

Experience supervising students or staff.

Collaborate with the Members and Associate Members of SBQMI to define research strategy for the Institute;

Collaborate with the beamline scientists at the QMSC beamline at the Canadian Light Source in Saskatoon.

·Above 8 years of experience in new product and solution development and management.

·Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated, hardworking, enthusiastic, and outgoing.

·Rich knowledge of protein chemistry, and in-depth understanding the analytical methodologies of protein characterization.

·Rich experience with managing key projects in product development. Strong capacity of decision-making and flexibility.

·Responsible for the maintenance of mass spectrometry in the laboratory.

·This role may require travel more than 10% of the time.

Master’s degree in bacteriology, microbiology, immunology, or other laboratory-related programs
