Director of Human Services Jobs in Nova Scotia

Must possess knowledge of accreditation standard and compliance requirements.

Minimum of one (1) year experience.

Implement policies and procedures for the identification of medically related social and emotional needs of the resident.

Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of the resident and family.

Manage and execute the Administrative Audit in partnership the Culinary Team on the weekly certification and the district.

All other duties as assigned by Opaa! Management.

Conduct weekly Kitchen Managers meeting.

Manage staff performance efficiently and effectively. If issues arise, report concerns to Supervisor.

Hire, onboard, train and manage the activities of all direct reports. Maintain compliance with all labor regulations.

Train, cross-train, and certify all kitchen staff on job stations. Be knowledgeable of all kitchen functions.

Engage staff, physicians, management, vendors and stakeholders to focus on organizational priorities

Provide management reports, insight and recommendations on a monthly basis Clinic Enhancement

Directly involved in daily operations and staff of clinic sites, and collaborate with managers and leaders in the organizations

Manage and further develop utilization of electronic record and IT systems

Work with managers to establish smooth and productive operations across organization

Work closely with Central Support to establish project implementation, analytics and clinic efficiency
