A minimum of 1 year surgical experience preferred.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with WRHA policy.

To act as a resource for education, counseling, and advocacy to residents, families, and staff;

To assess the spiritual and religious needs of each resident which in turn will form the framework for the services offered;

Completion of post secondary education

Post graduate education relevant to spiritual and religious care

3 to 5 years experience with seniors

Trained or experienced in multi-faith programming

Great written and verbal communication skills, in English

Paid training by experienced instructors (no experience required!)

Must have your own vehicle and a valid Class 5 driver’s license

Must live in Calgary, Alberta or in the surrounding areas

Daily personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing)

Meal planning, preparation, and groceries

Organizing stimulating activities for dogs.

Setting up our camp area for dog enrichment activities and play.

Interest in working outdoors and with a variety of dogs, regardless of weather.

Supervisory experience - 1-2 years experience leading a team

Pet care experience in a professional pet care environment

Basic understanding and knowledge of dog behavior

Ability to work well within a team and lead a team

What is Dog Day Care like at Holiday Barn?

Experience in outpatient setting preferred.

Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Certification in conscious sedation an asset.

Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.

Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions.

Previous experience as CNA II or CNA I in Hospice, home health, Facility based care, or oncology.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.

C.N.A Float (Home Care/Long Term Care) for the Burlington service area.

Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.

Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team in planning, implementing, and co-facilitating social/recreational, psycho-educational and life skills groups for adolescents in the program.

Attends related education programs/workshops in order to maintain a high standard of knowledge.

Knowledge of adolescent development and the broad range of issues pertaining to adolescent mental health.

Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation including the B.C. Mental Health Act and the Child, Family and Community Service Act.

Ability to work in a high stress environment with strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills.

Minimum two (2) year experience delivering direct mental health and addictions care to a child and/or youth population required.

Understanding/experience in the CONNECT attachment-based model preferred.

Working knowledge of mental health and/or concurrent disordered required.

Current certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required.

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills required.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time appropriately required.

• Analyse business requirements: translate into effective/efficient design, configuring to that design

• Drive design sessions for HCM with hands on experience in configuring business processes

• Design and create reports to meet requirements, using dashboards, discovery boards

• Exposure to Workday Financials beneficial

• Work on HCM improvements, guiding colleagues through Workday functionality

• Resolve functional issues requiring expertise in Workday HCM, taking corrective action as needed

Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

Current certificates in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Neonatal Resuscitation certification (NRP) with intubation, and an Obstetrical Emergency Skills course (i.e. ALSO), required.

Experience working within the Canadian Midwifery Model of Practice is an asset.

Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Experience working with multicultural populations, an asset.

Experience working with underserved and marginalized populations, an asset.

Eligibility for registration with an active practicing clinical license subject to approval by the Midwifery Regulatory Council of Nova Scotia.

Current Basic Life Support Certification

Provide assistance with implementing health care plan or therapeutic treatment, such as record vital signs and intake/output readings and reporting results

Assist with specimen collection, and preparing patient for surgical procedure (eg: pre-operative hair removal)

Reinforce patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care

Participates on nursing committees, care conferences and councils as assigned or as agreed to with the Manager.

Documents assessments, nursing diagnosis, observations, interventions, patient/family responses, outcomes/evaluations, and referrals according to practice standards and Fraser Health procedures.

Acts as a preceptor or mentor to assigned new nursing staff and students; shares information, demonstrates care activities, participates in orientation.

Performs other related duties as required.

Clinical proficiency in the designated clinical area.

Ability to initiate and maintain intravenous therapy.
