AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking a C.N.A Float (Home Care/Long Term Care) for the Burlington service area. This position is Full-Time Monday- Friday with Every Other Weekend responsibility. You can choose your schedule of 8am-4:30pm or 6:00am-2:30pm

Job Summary
To provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides comfort/sensitivity to patient and caregiver's emotional concerns and needs. Respond appropriately to emergency situations. Maintains a clean, safe environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Other: Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
  • Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions.
  • Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Must have excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory at our organization unless you are approved for an accommodation due to a religious objection or ADA covered medical condition. The organization will also review medical recommendations for a delay in vaccination or for other contraindications to vaccination.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as CNA II or CNA I in Hospice, home health, Facility based care, or oncology.
