Data Protection Consultant Jobs

Present learnings to customer-facing teams in order to enhance their product knowledge, customer perspective management skills, and target audience awareness

Education or experience in infrastructure industries is a plus

Assist the Data Protection Office general administration, such as task management and team meeting summaries

Willingness to upskill and gain further qualifications

Co-ordinate the preparation of various reports such as board, committee and forum reports

Support the Data Protection team in the administration of the OneTrust application, overseeing its daily operations

Contribute to the maintenance of various Data Protection logs, records and plans

Providing input for training and awareness exercises within the organisation

Work closely with Security Architects and leaders to design and implement solutions that enable or improve security capabilities.

Leverage working knowledge of software development, software architecture, and data flows.

Bring knowledge of online privacy threats and existing solutions to team collaboration sessions.

Convey ideas, advice, and resolution options to enable and improve security capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 8+ years Security Engineering experience.

Wide variety of Cybersecurity functional experience including digital engineering, coding, and technology architecture.

Prioritize and detail incident management from initiation to completion.

Provide support to other teams within the broader Risk Management Group, as needed.

Acknowledge, triage, remediate DLP alerts to support the enhancement / improvement / tuning of existing policies and resolve additional controls.

Proven Experience in Information Technology

Industry certifications (ISC2: CISSP, CCSP; ISACA: CISM; SANS: GSEC, GCIA, GMON) are strong asset

Establish and maintain relationships with key internal business customers and external suppliers.

- Experience with symmetric and asymmetric encryption, certificate and key management, masking, and tokenization

- Experience with creating remediation plans for unstructured data, structured data, and data within a cloud environment

- Experience with using MIP (Microsoft Information Protection), and BigID

- Experience with Veronis, the primary tool the team currently uses to do data discovery and classification

- Experience with TDE (transport data encryption)

- Experience with Microsoft Purview
